Intelligence Officer at the Swedish Armed Forces

We are now looking for someone who is ready for new challenges and wants to play an important role within the intelligence service at the unit.

Main Responsibilities

As an intelligence officer, you will belong to the Intelligence and Security Department, which leads and coordinates the intelligence and security service at the unit.

In this role, you will primarily work within the field of intelligence but will also come into contact with tasks related to military security service.

In your work, you will participate in the unit's planning efforts by contributing knowledge about actors and external threats. You will act as the representative of the Intelligence and Security Department in joint preparations within the staff and in various working groups.

You are expected to independently handle ongoing cases and prepare them for decision-making. In addition, you will participate in the development of the unit's operational intelligence and security situation.

Qualifications

  • Completed officer training, OF 2/3 or OR 7/8
  • Good ability to express oneself in speech and writing
  • Swedish citizenship
  • Driver's license B

Desirable Qualifications

  • Trained as an intelligence officer or equivalent training at FM UndSäkC
  • Completed training as an intelligence chief, processing/collection leader, intelligence officer, or intelligence analyst at FM UndSäkC
  • Trained at FM UndSäkC or equivalent training in the field of security intelligence or security protection
  • Completed Course for Security Service Handlers (KHS) at FM UndSäkC
  • Completed Security Officer Course (SOK) at FM UndSäkC
  • Experience of service in staff positions, particularly within military intelligence and security service or in a corresponding area at another government agency
  • Experience working in ISUS
  • Good knowledge of applicable regulations regarding intelligence and security service within the Swedish Armed Forces

The position is a full-time permanent employment that begins with a 6-month probationary period for those who do not already work within the Swedish Armed Forces. The employment includes an international work obligation and a duty to be placed in wartime.
